first_img Community News Community News SoCal Honda Dealers Spread Helpful Holiday Cheer in Pasadena From STAFF REPORTS Published on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 | 5:03 pm Name (required)  Mail (required) (not be published)  Website  Make a comment Pasadena’s ‘626 Day’ Aims to Celebrate City, Boost Local Economy Pasadena Will Allow Vaccinated People to Go Without Masks in Most Settings Starting on Tuesday Helpful Honda hosts Holiday Meal for Guests of Pasadena Union StationSoCal Honda dealers in the Pasadena area are spreading holiday cheer in the best way they know – by lending a hand to those who need it most.The SoCal Honda dealers visited Pasadena’s Union Station Homeless Services on Monday to help bring joy to 140 shelter visitors, continuing their nine-year tradition of celebrating Happy Honda Days with local SoCal organizations helping the less fortunate.The Honda team hosted a special hot breakfast with pancakes with berries, scrambled eggs with bacon and hash browns; and served a spirited holiday menu for lunch – marinated turkey and gravy, homemade stuffing, cranberry sauce, sautéed green beans, salad with homemade croutons, and desserts.The team also gave away care packages including winter socks and toiletries.SoCal Honda staff will continue their helpful holiday events by hosting a dozen Gingerbread building events for local organizations; donating gifts and serving holiday meals to hundreds of families in need at Ocean Park Community Center (OPCC) and Anaheim Indepedencia.They will also build and give away bikes for the kids of the Boys and Girls Club in San Bernardino, and bring a holiday arts and crafts afternoon with gifts and goodies to the kids of the Boys and Girls Club of Hollywood.In Pasadena, SoCal Honda will be helping residents in a variety of unexpected ways for the rest of the month.
